FAQs for Job Seekers

How do I register?

You can register online by filling up the registration form or once you enter the venue of the Career Fair, you can approach the registration counter and fill out the registration form.

What is the advantage of registering online?

Registering online will enable us to update you on various details on the Career Fair in the run-up to the actual event. For example, registered members will get a list of confirmed speakers and mentors attending the event in advance. Updates like these will help you derive the maximum benefit out of the career fair.

What happens after I reach the event?

You begin by approaching the registration counter. You will be handed over a registration kit and guided inside the career fair where you can participate in the various programmes. The Kit will have all the information you need about the event flow, the speakers, the mentors and the recruiters. If you have questions or need any assistance, contact our representatives on the floor who would be glad to help you.

Do I need to carry my CV?

You can carry your portfolios or CVs for the recruiters who would be participating in the fair. This will give you a chance to showcase your qualifications and talents to the recruiters. If you still haven’t prepared your portfolio or CV, you can approach our mentors for guidance on how to prepare one.

What do I gather from the Panel discussion?

Industry leaders would be participating in the panel discussion where they would throw light on the nature of the industry, the opportunities, the growth potential and various career options herein. You can listen to their expert comments and gain knowledge from their experience. There would be a short question-answer round where you can clarify your doubts.

What will happen in the recruiting sessions?

You can find listings of various job openings from the top-notch companies in the industry who will be participating in the Career Fair and approach them for the vacancies if that suits your interests. You will get time for a preliminary interaction with representatives of the companies.

How do I approach a mentoring session?

Look at the list of mentors and establish on which topic you need their expert guidance. Once you know what you want to ask and who, take spot appointments for your one on one session. Each person will get 10 minutes with each mentor (of their choice) to clarify their doubts.
